STAFF TEAM
Hey all! My name is Jake Vance, and I am originally from a small town in Vermont called Jeffersonville. I got my undergraduate degree from Hope College in Michigan in 2024 with a major in Religion and a minor in Ministry. I received my Master's in Theological Sports Studies from Baylor's Truett Seminary in May 2026. Since moving to Waco, the Lord has opened so many opportunities for me to learn and grow through exciting ministry such as Hoops Huddle, WiN at Highland, various camps, and so much more. It is humbling to reflect on all the gifts He has provided! I am now beyond pumped for that next game—Waco KLIFE! Youth discipleship is a huge passion of mine, and I know that, by God's grace, we are going to see amazing things happen in our city and in the hearts of our kiddos and leaders! I love exploring God's creation and playing sports. A verse that is near and dear to my heart is Galatians 2:20: "For I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." It is so evident that God's hand is moving in Waco and in the lives of our youth! I am so amped and thankful to be a part of it!
JAKE VANCE // CHAPTER DIRECTOR
Waco KLIFE! My name is Jenna Moore, and I am from a small town right outside of Abilene called Tuscola, Texas. I graduated from Baylor University in May of 2023 with a degree in Secondary English Education. During my time at Baylor, I was a Student Ministry Associate at Highland Baptist Church and worked at Kanakuk Kamps in the summers. After graduating from Baylor, I attended the Kanakuk Institute in Branson, Missouri, receiving a certificate in Leadership and Biblical Studies. I cannot be more excited to be back in Waco and being able to invest in the lives of middle and high schoolers! I love all things sports (specifically Baylor), and in my free time, I love to play all kinds of sports with awesome people. My life verse is Luke 9:23 - “And he said to all, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” I believe God is doing special things in the lives of young people in Waco, and I am deeply grateful to be a part of the Waco KLIFE team to create deep roots of discipleship!
